The purpose for the game was in part, to help promote Life Chiropractic College West to potential future students and in part, to keep the rugby program ticking over whilst the wait for summer club sevens and then the competitive Fall season continues.

“We are trying to reach out to elite rugby colleges to let players know that we have postgraduate rugby scholarships available for any players who wants to continue their rugby development” said Athletics Director, Adriaan Ferris. “We are in the unique situation that we can offer aspiring young players the opportunity to continue their rugby career whilst pursuing higher education in a Doctorate of Chiropractic course” noted Ferris.

The games are proving invaluable against quality opposition, having taken on Lindenwood University, Life University and now Central Washington, the Gladiatrix are keeping abreast of the talent that exists at the elite D1 level.
