The Life West Rugby program took a huge stride towards the 2016 USA Rugby National Championships last weekend when both the Life West Mens and Womens teams won the Northern California Rugby Championships at Treasure Island, San Francisco, CA.
The Gladiators (men’s team) won the NorCal Division 1 championship and the Gladiatix (womens team) taking out the NorCal Womens Division 2 title.
It has been an incredible season for both sides, with both posting unbeaten regular season records of 12-0 (Gladiators) and 10-0 (Gladiatrix) respectively.
All players & coaching staff have worked hard to represent Life Chiropractic College West and our local Hayward, East Bay & wider Bay Area community with pride.
We do need your financial support for all expenses we will incurr on our trip to Seattle on May 7, 2016 as we do not receive funding from the college. Your support is critical for us getting to the national championship qualifier game.
We have multiple goals for the Life West Rugby program. Our main goal is to bring awareness to the chiropractic profession and the value of regular chiropractic care in overall health & wellness. Aligned to that is to showcase the power of chiropractic performance care through the newly opened Life West Sports Performance Institute. Additionally, we love our community and we are here to help foster strong ties to our local communities and provide an avenue for athletes to excel in the sport of rugby.
