Program

We set out to build a positive rugby program that was defined by excellence and professionalism. We are focused on growth and development and understand the importance of continual improvement.

Leadership

The Life West Rugby program’s leadership includes business professionals and rugby stalwarts such as Dr. Fred Schofield, a former US Eagle, business leader & motivational speaker. The active involvement of our college Board of Regents ensures that our rugby program is well supported.

At Life West Rugby, we are committed to developing a program that is recognized as world-class.

Health & Wellness

There are numerous benefits to aligning the sport of rugby and the profession of chiropractic. There are several synergies between the two, including the concept of the intersection between health, wellness and teamwork.

Development

Within the rugby program, we have a strong emphasis on development. Based on a six-pillar development model that focuses on players, we focus on technical, tactical, physical, mental skill, nutritional and leadership development.

Spirit

The backbone of the entire program is based on what we fondly call ‘the Spirit of Rugby.’ This spirit presents rugby as a game of camaraderie, passion, commitment and sportsmanship. The idea of connecting with the opposition team post-game, being hospitable or showing thankfulness and appreciating one another in the spirit of rugby is what makes rugby so different and so beautiful.
